im doing a project for school on hurricane sandy and what im having trouble finding is like how did sandy actually formed. i hope someone can help me or at least explain it to me. any help would be appreciated
Chosen Answer:
Hurricane Sandy formed just like all other tropical cyclones; initially over warm tropical waters where a weak low pressure system was able to be surrounded by rain and storms. The high amounts of warmth and condensing water vapor released heat energy into the center of the system, which caused the pressure to fall and winds to increase, strengthening the system. Eventually enough heat energy was released that the system attained hurricane force.
